Last updated: July 2, 2026

1. Who we are

NEET Prep is a trading name of Mock Test Company ("we", "us", "our"), the seller and operator of this service. We act as the data controller for the personal data described in this notice.

2. Personal data we collect

  • Account data: name, email address, hashed password (or Google account identifier if you sign in with Google).
  • Usage data: tests generated, questions attempted, answers, scores, performance analyses, timestamps.
  • Technical data: IP address, device and browser information, log data, cookies strictly necessary to keep you signed in.
  • Support data: messages you send us when contacting support.

3. Purposes and legal basis

  • Provide the service (creating your account, generating mock tests, saving attempts) — performance of our contract with you.
  • Security, fraud prevention and abuse detection — our legitimate interest in keeping the service safe.
  • Improve the service (aggregate, non-identifying analytics) — legitimate interest.
  • Customer support — performance of contract.
  • Legal compliance — where required by applicable law.

4. Who we share data with

  • Cloud hosting and database providers that host our application and store your account and usage data on our behalf.
  • AI model providers that generate mock test questions, explanations and analyses from our prompts. We do not send them your email or password.
  • Professional advisers (legal, accounting) where necessary.
  • Authorities where required by law, court order or to protect our rights.

We do not sell your personal data and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

5. Data retention

We keep your account and usage data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account or ask us to delete your data, we will delete or anonymise it within 90 days, except where we are required to keep it longer by applicable law.

6. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten").
  • Restrict or object to certain processing.
  • Request a portable copy of the data you provided.
  • Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.
  • Lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in section 10. We will respond within one month.

7. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), encryption at rest for our database, hashed passwords, role-based access controls, and audit logging. No system is 100% secure, but we work to keep your data safe.

8. Cookies

We use only strictly necessary cookies and local storage entries required to keep you signed in and to remember basic preferences. We do not set advertising or third-party tracking cookies. You can clear cookies at any time from your browser settings, but doing so will sign you out.

9. International transfers

Our providers (hosting, AI) may process data outside your country of residence. Where required by law, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or provider adequacy decisions.
